Compassionate Grief Therapy for Adults, Children, Couples, and Families.

In-person in Tacoma, WA & online across WA

Whether you're grieving the death of a loved one, facing a life-limiting illness, supporting someone who is dying, or navigating anticipatory grief, therapy can provide a safe space to process your loss, honor your relationship, and gently reconnect with meaning, hope, and yourself.

You Don't Have to Carry Grief Alone

Grief changes you. Whether you've experienced the death of someone you love, are facing the loss of a partner, child, parent, or friend, or are living with the uncertainty of a life-limiting illness, grief can leave you feeling lost, overwhelmed, and disconnected from the life you once knew.

At Tacoma Grief Counseling (TGC), I provide a compassionate space where every part of your grief is welcome. There is no timeline to follow, no expectation to "move on," and no right way to grieve. Together, we'll honor your relationship with the person you've lost, make space for the emotions that arise, and help you find ways to carry your love and your grief while slowly reconnecting with meaning, hope, and yourself.

Whether your loss is recent or many years old, healing doesn't mean forgetting. It means learning to live alongside your grief with greater compassion, resilience, and connection.

You know life has changed. You don't have to find your way forward alone.

Meet Your Therapist

I come to this work not only as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, but also as someone who has walked the road of grief.

Experiencing significant loss at a young age shaped the way I understand grief—not just professionally, but personally. I know how isolating it can feel when your world has changed, whether through the death of a loved one, the loss of a cherished pet, the end of an important relationship, changes in health or identity, or another life-altering experience. Grief has a way of touching every part of our lives, influencing our relationships, our sense of self, and our hopes for the future.

My own journey has taught me that grief isn't something we "get over." It is something we learn to carry. When we allow ourselves to face our pain with compassion instead of avoiding it, grief can gradually transform. We continue to carry the love, meaning, and connection that came from the relationship or experience, while learning to move forward in a way that honors what has been changed.

This belief is at the heart of my work. I strive to create a space where you don't have to hide your grief, rush your healing, or pretend you're okay. Together, we'll honor your unique experience, make room for every emotion that comes with it, and help you rediscover meaning, connection, and resilience.

I believe grief is a reflection of love, attachment, and the significance of our human experiences. While grief changes us, it can also deepen our appreciation for life, strengthen our relationships, and reveal a resilience we may never have known we possessed. You don't have to walk this path alone.
